Málþing um málefni intersex-fólks verður haldið á vegum RIKK, í samstarfi við Intersex Ísland og þverfræðilegt nám í kynfræði við Háskóla Íslands, 14 nóvember 2016, í stofu 101 í Lögbergi. Málþingið hefst kl. 15 og lýkur kl. 17.

Dagskrá:

Kitty Andersen, formaður Intersex Ísland, stjórnarmaður í Samtökunum 78 og ritari framkvæmdastjórnar Organisation Intersex International Europe: „Upon recognition of Intersex human rights violations.“

Tommi Paalanen, framkvæmdastjóri Sexpo Foundation, doktor í félagsvísindum og heimspekingur: „Foreskin Ethics – Ethical Enquiry into Male Genital Mutilation“.

Sólveig Anna Bóasdóttir, prófessor í guðfræðilegri siðfræði og kennari í þverfræðilegu námi í kynfræði:  „Making sex! From Simone de Beauvoir to John Money & Anke Ehrhardt.“

Tiina Vilponen er kynningarfulltrúi Sexpo Foundation. Hún er með meistarapróf í guðfræði, ráðgjafi um málefni tengd kynhneigð og -vitund, viðurkenndur sérfræðingur í kennslu um kynhneigð- og vitund og kynheilsu: „Genital Autonomy as a Sexual Right.“

Málþingið fer fram á ensku, er öllum opið og aðgangur er ókeypis.

Symposium on Intersex

A symposium on intersex will be held on 14 November in Lögberg, room 101 from 15:00 till 17:00. The symposium is held in collaboration between RIKK – Institute for Gender, Equality and Difference at the University of Iceland, the interdisciplinary programme in sexology also at the University of Iceland and the Intersex Iceland Association.

Sólveig Anna Bóasdóttir, Professor of Theological ethics and a lecturer in the interdisiplinary programme on sexology at the University of Iceland: „Making sex! From Simone de Beauvoir to John Money & Anke Ehrhardt.“

Tiina Vilponen, Communications Manager at Sexpo Foundation, M.Th. Sexuality Therapist, Authorised Sexuality Educator and Sexual Health Promoter (NACS): „Genital Autonomy as a Sexual Right.“
