The RIKK – Institute for Gender, Equality and Difference and Gender Equality Studies and Training (GEST) programme lecture series for spring 2020 is devoted to gender and climate change.
The lectures allow scholars to present and discuss new research. The lecture series aims for an interdisciplinary approach and a wide selection of topics from a variety of fields, such as environmental studies, cultural studies, history, psychology, economics, gender studies, literature studies, geology, and biology, to name just a few.
The aim of this lecture series is to take a gender and equality perspective on the urgent topic of climate change.
The lecture series is organized in cooperation with GEST – Gender Equality Studies and Training Programme at the University of Iceland.
The deadline for abstracts (200-250 words) is 14 November 2019. Submit abstracts to rikk@hi.is
